What is governance?
Born from within the community, Terra Classic’s governance model allows every member to influence the blockchain’s evolution. Proposals put to a vote can improve the network, support token Burn, expand the ecosystem, or refine certain mechanisms.
Each proposal is open for voting for a set period of time. At the end of that period, the result is validated in accordance with the rules of the Terra Classic protocol and based on the participation of LUNC holders.
The history presented here begins with the launch of RESILIENT VALIDATOR. We publish only those decisions in which we were actually involved.
The Role of Validators
Validators play a crucial role in securing the network and ensuring governance. They validate transactions and relay proposals from the community.
When a holder delegates their LUNC to a validator, they entrust that validator with the responsibility of representing their interests during votes.
Choosing a committed validator means actively contributing to the resilience of Terra Classic.
